Our web site; LongandFoster.com receives more than 20 thousand hits per day, is viewed internationally and we have one of the most active relocation departments in the Commonwealth. We handle Phillip Morris, Reynolds and several other major companies headquartered in Richmond and our listed properties are made available to those relocating to the greater Richmond area. Again the exposure is massive and of course we work with Realtors from other companies, too.

We immediately notify all the Long & Foster offices in Central Virginia when we have a listing and the brochures are distributed throughout the offices via-email and are posted for display.

Today, 87 percent of buyers go to the Internet to search for homes. Your property will not only be highlighted on the Central Virginia MLS, but also on Long & Foster's site, my two personal sites (this one and RichmondVAHomes4U.com) which are aggressively marketed and viewed, and it will also be featured on the following sites which are heavily trafficked by potential buyers: Realtor.com, Richmond.com, MSN Real Estate and Rentals, Yahoo Real Estate.  We also advertise with HarmonHomes.com which normally generates excellent response. Your property will be listed on at least thirty real estate related sites where the public begins this house hunting within 72 hours of signing the listing agreement.

My e-Pro designation represents Realtors who work heavily with the Internet. I have a national database of other e-Pro agents (including several in Central Virginia) who will receive detailed information on your property for exposure to buyers.

Michael and I also have another database of Realtors from several different companies throughout Central Virginia and beyond. Many have been parties of our past transactions and others we have met at open houses and networking events. They receive e-brochures of our listings in case they have a buyer who may be interested in the property.

Open Houses are a good thing to have. Curious neighbors tend to stop in and they in turn may know of someone who'd like to move into the neighborhood, and it also heightens interest throughout. Open Houses receive prominent advertising in the Richmond Times Dispatch and on Internet sites.

We have found great success in moving difficult properties with use of the Internet for advertising. We recently sold a condo in an area where they typically sit on the market for an average of 75 days. The Internet sites I use, helped me sell it in 17 days! Such a turn around can not be guaranteed, but it can happen.

We are full-time Realtors, and practice real estate for the pure enjoyment of it.  We pace ourselves so we may space our clients out, in order to have time to devote to each person and their transaction.
